About Hoedspruit
Hoedspruit is a small bushveld town in South Africa’s Limpopo Province and one of the main gateways to the Greater Kruger region. Surrounded by private nature reserves, wildlife areas and the northern Drakensberg, it has developed into a hub for safari tourism, conservation and outdoor experiences while retaining the relaxed character of a Lowveld town.
Its location makes Hoedspruit an ideal base for exploring the region. Kruger National Park, private game reserves and the landscapes around the Blyde River Canyon are all within reach, while the town itself offers restaurants, shops and the everyday facilities travellers may need during a longer stay. For visitors to The Equine House, it means being immersed in the bush without being completely removed from town.
